The course pages include a syllabus and sample assignments. For more about my pedagogy, please visit my Teaching Philosophy and see student comments under Evaluations.

In Fall 2022, a group of students in my ENGL 115: Intro to British Literature (linked below) worked in ArcGIS – interactive mapping software – to represent the spaces depicted in our texts as they see them. Rather than relying on a British perspective, they bring their own perspectives to the maps to critique the colonial projects in which we are all implicated.

“Erin is a joy to have in class. She always adds to the conversation and helps clarify topics with her input. She does a great job of assisting in the writing process during the TA meetings. I believe that Erin effectively facilitates students’ learning.”
