3.2. Examples to Imitate

As you work through how you will write your proposal through imitation, you will want to consider the expressions used by abstracts and grant proposals in your field. I have included a few examples here, but ones more specific to your interests will be more helpful. What information comes at the start of the abstract or proposal? Does the proposal include a thesis statement or key idea? How is the research plan summed up?
